The Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center has been drawing outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers from around the world since 2003. As home to the first World Birding Center, Edinburg offers a one-of-a-kind natural experience in the heart of South Texas. For visitors interested in arts, culture, and heritage, the Edinburg Cultural Arts Division hosts festivals and events throughout the year, including film festivals, heritage parades, and the beloved annual Edinburg UFO Festival. The Museum of South Texas History connects visitors to the deep history of the region through rotating exhibits and educational programs. Sports fans and adventure-seekers will find plenty to cheer about. Vackar Stadium, UTRGV Vaqueros Division I Football, Rio Grande Valley Vipers basketball, and live concerts and events at Bert Ogden Arena keep the energy going year-round.
